Environmental Management System

Aliança Energia works with a focus on protecting biodiversity, preventing pollution and mitigating the negative impacts resulting from its activities.

In this sense, the company has an Environmental Management System (EMS), which comprises guidelines and processes in line with the legal requirements applicable to its generation assets. The initiative follows the guidelines of the Environmental Policy and EMS Standard and is structured based on operational and management procedures.

Through an Environmental Legislation Control and Evaluation System, a database is made available containing all the environmental legislation applicable to the business and periodic monitoring of compliance with legal requirements is carried out.

The licenses, authorizations and environmental conditions of its projects are registered in the Environmental Licenses and Authorizations Control System, ensuring that all licenses are valid and meet the requirements of the environmental agencies.

The efficiency of the Environmental Management System is evaluated once a year through internal audits. Registered non-conformities are addressed through action plans that allow for continuous improvement of processes.
