Between October 28 and 30, Aliança was present at Brazil Windpower 2025, held in São Paulo. With the theme “COP30 and the role of wind energy accelerating the decarbonization of the economy”, the event brought together more than 300 speakers in a diverse program, which included plenary sessions, technical arenas, WindTalks, BWP Papers and the launch of the Invest in Brazil Wind Energy program.

Aliança Energia team that was present participated in an environment aimed at debating trends and presenting innovations in a strategic space of wind energy in the global energy transition. The meeting, which has been held for 16 years, has established itself as one of the main spaces for dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of the Brazilian energy transition, bringing together industry leaders, experts and companies to discuss topics such as sector growth, repowering, transmission, excellence in O&M (Operation and Maintenance), as well as digitalization and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence.

Throughout the three days of programming, the representatives of Aliança Energia interacted with investors, manufacturers, construction companies, operators, public managers and regulators, participating in panels and meetings focused on the sustainable development of the wind chain.

This year, the event was structured in three main thematic axes:

  • “New green industrialization”, which addressed public policies, hydrogen, innovation and governance of the electricity sector.
  • “Where the winds blow”, with a focus on strategies and investment attraction.
  • “Road to COP30”, dedicated to sustainability and the “social license to operate”.

Marcelo Werly, Aliança Social Responsibility and Communication manager was one of the speakers on the Panel: Lessons and Opportunities of the Social License to Operate. “This is a topic that has become increasingly relevant for companies that seek to obtain society’s consent for their operations and build a relationship of trust with communities based on sustainable coexistence, which generates value and development for all.”

The Aliança Energia’s Energy Regulation coordinator, Alynne Antunes dos Santos, shared her perception of the event: “another edition of Brazil Windpower for the account, without a doubt, the best wind energy event in Brazil. This year was challenging, especially following the procedures of MP 1304, but participating in the event was a very valuable experience. They were intense days, with a lot of learning and exchange of knowledge with discussions that shape the future of the electricity sector.”

The company reinforces that, by providing the participation of its employees in these events, it contributes to the continuous search for excellence and protagonism in making it happen, as each participation expands knowledge and improves performance in the sector.
