On February 2, Aliança Energia participated in the Signing Ceremony of the Terms of Promotion with Civil Society Organizations, held in the municipality of Icapuí, in the vicinity of its project in Ceará. The event, held at the Chico Bagre Memory Center, marked the formalization of the projects selected by the Municipal Fund for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (COMDCA) and the Municipal Fund for the Rights of the Elderly (FMDI), which received support from the company for execution in 2026.
The ceremony was attended by the government, representatives of the associations covered by the notice and members of the Municipal Councils for the Rights of Children, Adolescents and the Elderly. The selected projects work directly to guarantee rights, social inclusion and improve the quality of life of children, adolescents and the elderly, benefiting 140 children and 120 elderly people.
The following projects were contemplated:
- Cultural Association of Artists and Friends of Art | “Music and Citizenship: Strengthening the Rights of Children and Adolescents”
- Ark of Salvation Association, Followers of Jesus Christ | “Who Loves Cares: Educating with Sport”
- Cultural Association of Artists and Friends of Art | “Memories”
- Cultural Sports and Social Association Filhos do Sertão | “Ties of Time: Coexistence and Care in the Third Age”
- Caiçara Association for Human Promotion | “Portraits of Time II”
The event was also attended by the Secretariat of Social Care and Protection, the Office of the Mayor of Icapuí and councilors, expanding the Aliança Energia’s partnership with the public authorities and civil society.
With this action, the Aliança Energia is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 3 – Health and Well-being, SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 10 – Reduction of Inequalities and SDG 17 – Partnerships and Means of Implementation.
The Aliança Energia believes that, with the signing of the Terms of Promotion, it contributes to social responsibility, community development and the promotion of citizenship, benefiting the lives of children, adolescents and the elderly in Icapuí.
