Aliança Energia presents the revision of the Sanctions Policy

Cover Sanctions Policy

At the end of January, the Aliança Eenrgia’s Board of Directors approved the revision of its Sanctions Policy, with the aim of further strengthening internal controls and monitoring in the relationship with third parties.

The updated policy improves the criteria for assessing and classifying risks associated with third parties, as well as the mechanisms for continuous monitoring, considering factors such as international operations, interface with the Government and any links with sanctioned persons, entities or territories.

The revision reflects the evolution of the Aliança Energia’s Integrity Program and reinforces the expectation that business partners, suppliers and other third parties act in accordance with the compliance and governance guidelines adopted by the company.

The Sanctions Policy is available for consultation on the Aliança Energia’s website and intranet.
