In order to share information and strengthen dialogue with the local community, on October 27, Aliança Energia held a technical meeting to present the results of the Fauna Monitoring conducted at the Acauã Wind Complex, located in the Baixa do Sítio Community, in Lagoa Nova (RN). This initiative is part of the company’s environmental monitoring actions, which aim to assess the impacts and contribute to the conservation of biodiversity in the project’s area of influence.
The meeting was conducted by the biologists in charge, linked to Aliança Energia’s service provider, Biometria. On the occasion, residents around the project were able to follow the results, clarify doubts and contribute with observations related to the theme.
These meetings are held periodically and are an important opportunity for Aliança Energia to present the main results of the monitoring, such as the number of species recorded and other environmental indicators, in addition to promoting discussions on relevant topics, such as the endemic species of the Caatinga Biome, endangered species, as well as issues related to hunting, wildlife trafficking and their environmental consequences.

Aliança Energia maintains its actions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 13 – Action Against Global Climate Change, SDG 15 – Life on Land and SDG 17 – Partnerships and Means of Implementation.

The meeting concluded with emphasis on the importance of open dialogue and the exchange of knowledge between the technical team and the community. These interactions promote social participation and contribute to sustainable development and the preservation of the ecosystems where Aliança Energia operates.
