In line with its value of always putting life first and prioritizing the safety of its employees, Aliança informs that, once again, it has achieved an important result: zero accidents with lost time in 2025.
This milestone in health and safety reflects everyone’s engagement, the strength of its preventive culture and mutual care in the workplace. Demonstrating that safety is not limited to compliance with rules and procedures, but is one of its fundamental values, placing life as a priority in all activities.
The following is a graphical comparison of the TRIFR and LTIFR rates of the plants in operation.

TRIFR – Total Recordable Accident Frequency Rate: is the total number of recordable injuries per 1 million hours, i.e., number of accidents x 1,000,000/Man Hour Worked.
LTIFR – Lost Time Accident Frequency Rate: is the number of deaths and injuries per time lost per 1 million hours, that is, the number of days lost and debited x 1,000,000 / Man Hour Worked.
In 2025, the Aliança Energia achieved its best historical result in health and safety, with zero lost-time accidents. Special emphasis on the time without accidents, some plants add up to almost two decades without occurrences, a relevant milestone for the energy sector. This result is evidence of the company’s ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence.

The company’s own mills and consortia continue to demonstrate excellence in health and safety management. Below, the updated table of Time without Lost Time Accidents.
To celebrate this result and share learning, the coordinator of the Aimorés HPP, Adilison Melo, talks about the importance of this result for the plant’s operation, in addition to sharing his vision on safety and good practices on a daily basis.
“Maintaining zero accidents is a permanent pursuit in our operations. In 2025, this mark is especially important, as the number of people has increased a lot in relation to the plant’s regular quantity, due to the modernization of Generating Unit No. 3 of the Aimorés HPP. Integrating this workforce into our environment productively and safely required skill and additional effort from the entire team. We are proud to sustain this result and committed to maintaining a safe environment for all.”
Aliança believes that maintaining a focus on prevention, caring for people and constant improvement is important for this milestone to be sustained and for it to continue advancing towards a future with zero accidents, always putting the lives of its employees first.
