On November 26, the general DDS was held in Acauã, highlighting Blue November, with the participation of all its employees, own and third parties, in person. This meeting aimed to reinforce the importance of prevention and care for men’s health, promoting information and awareness on a topic that still faces taboos.
At that moment, the team from the São Vicente/RN Health Department was received, which brought information about prostate cancer. Nurse Gustavo Kennedy presented important data about the disease awareness and prevention campaign, addressing signs and symptoms that everyone should be aware of. Despite being the second type of cancer that kills the most men in the world, according to data from the National Cancer Institute (INCA), prostate cancer has a great chance of cure. Therefore, taking care of men’s health and being aware of the signs and symptoms that the body presents are fundamental attitudes for early detection and effective treatment of the disease.
On the occasion, a vaccination campaign against hepatitis, MMR, tetanus, influenza and yellow fever was also carried out, covering all participants. It is moments like this that expand knowledge and reinforce its number 1 value of Aliança Energia: life first.
