On December 1st, the Aliança Botanical Park, in Aimorés (MG), held the second violin recital, marking the end of the activities of the 2025 musicalization project, sponsored by Aliança Energia. The event brought together 19 children and adolescents, accompanied by their families, who celebrated a special moment of evolution, dedication and overcoming, under the guidance of music teacher Érica Chaves.

The initiative promotes inclusion and opportunities, going beyond technical learning. It awakens dreams, creates perspectives and brings children and adolescents closer to the artistic universe, which is fundamental for their integral formation. The classes, offered free of charge after school hours, stimulate interest in art and culture and contribute to the personal and educational development of the young participants.

Ester Souza Silva, violin student, described her experience on stage with emotion: “I felt a great emotion and I was afraid of making a mistake, but everything worked out. It was very gratifying to be able to show my family that I am learning and to be able to play like this. I learned a lot from classes and rehearsals and I still have a lot to learn, over time we evolve. I take classes in Itueta, which are very dynamic and in a quiet environment. What I like most is learning and playing.”

Rodrigo Madeira, father of student Sofia Madeira, reported the transformations observed in his daughter: “we perceive Sofia’s intellectual and social development very clearly. She has evolved a lot as a person since the first classes. We noticed the difference in behavior, commitment and the constant desire to train and practice. This has been very good not only for her, but for us, for our home as a whole. We believe in her a lot and we always encourage this bond with music, because she identifies herself too much. This moment is very remarkable, not only in photographs, but in our memory, because she will carry this with her for life.”

Maria Luiza Coutinho, Laila Lima’s mother, also shared her perception: “since she started violin lessons, I see that Laila has evolved a lot both at school and at home. She is more calm, balanced and responsible. It is very pleasant to see all students participating, because access to music today is fundamental; it influences young people to follow the right path. Laila feels fulfilled in going to class, and the emotion in her eyes is very real. The violin is challenging, it requires posture, delicacy, firmness and persistence, and Laila has surprised me a lot. Seeing my daughter shining like this is very gratifying. I can only thank Aliança Energia for this opportunity.”

Aliança Energia’s project is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 4 and SDG 10, which promote quality education, inclusion and opportunities for children and adolescents.

Music has the power to transform lives. Therefore, Aliança Energia believes that, by sponsoring projects like this, it contributes to the construction of more promising futures and to the development of the communities where it operates.
