Between December 15 and 18, Aliança Energia held the Internal Week for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents (SIPAT) at the Risoleta Neves HPP. The theme of the event was “Energies that drive lives, security that protects the future”, the winning phrase of the contest prepared by the Community Relations Analyst, Iany Albergaria. The program brought together own employees and permanent contractors, with activities aimed at raising awareness about health, safety and well-being in the workplace.
The unit has 13 employees and 44 permanent contractors. Of the total of 57 professionals, about 50 participated in the activities, which represents more than 90% adherence, an index that demonstrates the engagement of the teams and the relevance of the initiative.

The opening was marked by the presentation of the new CIPA A+ designees, followed by the disclosure of the annual health and safety indicators. The program included lectures by specialists, such as the one given by physiotherapist Marlon de Oliveira, entitled “Energy in motion: active body, safe work”, who highlighted the importance of physical activity for the prevention of accidents.

Another relevant moment was the lecture on working at height and confined space, held by the Colabor Group, which brought practical demonstrations with the mobile training center.

The theme of preventive health was also addressed, with a lecture on communicable diseases, alluding to Red December. In addition, participants were able to follow the phrase contest and participate in raffles for gifts, which encouraged engagement throughout the week.

The closing was marked by special recognitions, such as the FOCAPE highlight of the year and the Good Practice highlight of the year, valuing initiatives that contributed to the company’s preventionist safety culture.

For the Occupational Safety technician and one of the organizers of SIPAT, João Lucas Duarte, the event demonstrated the result of a collective effort: “It is gratifying to see the result of the collective work and to realize that the tools used throughout the year brought recognition and appreciation to the entire team.”
Administrative assistant Shirley Almeida Lopes also highlighted the positive impact of the initiative: “Moments like these show our commitment to caring for people and to an increasingly safe and conscious work environment.”
SIPAT reaffirmed the purpose of the Aliança Energia, “Energies that drive lives”, and the values that guide its performance: “Life first”, “Integrity is non-negotiable”, “Cooperation to move forward” and “Continuous search for excellence”.
