Aliança Geração de Energia S.A. is a Brazilian company operating in the electricity generation and commercialization market, headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
Founded in 2015, the company is already among the largest private electricity generation companies in Brazil, contributing to the country’s private generation park.
Aliança Energia is also betting on future investments in energy generation from various sources, such as wind, solar, among others, to ensure the diversification and sustainability of its operations.

Corporate Restructuring
On September 18, the process of entry of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) as a shareholder of the Aliança Energia was concluded, with a 70% stake in the share capital, alongside Vale, which maintains 30%.
New Assets
On September 1st, the inclusion of two new own assets was made official, namely the Sol do Cerrado Photovoltaic Plant and the Risoleta Neves Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Conclusion of the constitution of Aliança Geração de Energia S.A.
On February 27, 2015, the transaction for the constitution of the joint venture was concluded, with the increase of capital stock in Aliança Energia and the contribution of the aforementioned assets. In February, the company's first employees were hired.
Formalization of the joint venture
On August 5, 2014, Aliança Energia was formally constituted, followed by the legal formalities, regulatory approvals and compliance with conditions precedent.
Agreement for the constitution of Aliança Geração de Energia S.A.
The shareholders, who were already partners in hydroelectric projects, formed Aliança Energia on December 19, 2013, when they entered into an agreement involving their respective interests in the power generation assets – Hydroelectric Power Plants: Porto Estrela, Igarapava, Funil, Capim Branco I and II, Aimorés and Candonga.
