At the end of December, ACARTE (Cultural Association of Artists and Friends of Art), from Icapuí, a municipality neighboring the Santo Inácio Wind Complex and the Gravier Wind Power Plant, operated by Aliança in Ceará, held the recital “Energy that Builds Dreams“, at the Chico Bagre Popular Memory Center. The event marked the end of the association’s 2025 cultural activities, which serves more than 150 students, and was sponsored by Aliança Energia, through the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture.
The recital presented the results of the work carried out throughout the year with project participants, who are aged between 8 and 14 years, including atypical children. During the period, students received wind and percussion instrument lessons and each presentation evidenced the learning acquired, allowing family members, educators and community members to closely follow their evolution. At the end of the event, Aliança Energia was honored with the “Friendly Company 2025” certificate.

According to the music teacher, Nacelio Francisco de Paula, the musical initiation classes, especially trombone de vara, play a fundamental role in the cultural, educational and social formation of children and adolescents in the municipality. He points out that, through music, students develop discipline, concentration, motor coordination, artistic sensitivity, in addition to strengthening self-esteem and a sense of belonging.
This transformation is also perceived by families. Damiana da Silva, mother of an atypical student who is part of the band, reports that her son has made significant progress since he started participating in the project. “Before, he didn’t know how to read or write and now he’s a reader, writes and shows improvements in sleep. Despite the follow-up with therapies, psychologists and occupational therapists, it was with the band that the changes became more evident. Music has become part of his routine, which has been surpassing himself every day, reinforcing the importance of Aliança’s support in this development process”.
For Maria Rodrigues, Community Relations analyst at Aliança, “sponsoring ACARTE is of great importance for the company, as the positive results demonstrate how inclusive and transformative music and culture are, especially when aimed at children and youth”.
The company’s initiative contributes to access to music education and culture, supporting actions related to some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 10 – Reduction of Inequalities, SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 17 – Partnerships and Means of Implementation.

Aliança Energia closely followed the realization of the recital, reaffirming its commitment to actions that promote learning, inclusion, social development and expansion of the bond with the communities surrounding its projects.
