Aliança Energia will carry out, on June 3rd, the fifth periodic sound test of 2026, with the activation of the sirens of the Emergency Action Plan (PAE) of the hydroelectric plants of Aimorés – in the cities of Aimorés (MG) and Baixo Guandu (ES) – and Funil – in Lavras and Ribeirão Vermelho, in the south of Minas.
The tests will take place from 2 pm with the simultaneous activation of the remote stations. Each ring will last approximately 20 seconds, following the same pattern as previous tests, carried out since 2023, with voice messages and musical sound.
These tests will continue to be carried out monthly, always on the first Wednesday of each month, in order to ensure the correct functioning of the system and compliance with current legislation, without the need for residents to travel to meeting points.
It is important to highlight that these two Aliança Energia plants, the Aimorés Hydroelectric Plant and the Funil Hydroelectric Plant, are classified as low risk, and their structures fully comply with safety standards, according to reports issued by Brazil’s National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL). The working groups on this topic in each location – composed of representatives of the Civil Defense agencies, the Fire Department, the Military Police and the Aliança Energia team – continue with the monitoring routine and will monitor and supervise these preventive actions.
