On August 21, Aliança Energia was present at APAE in Lavras (MG), a municipality neighboring the Funil HPP, during the presentation of the theatrical show “Na Lona – Palhaçaria Itinerante”, by the Grupo de Teatro Construção, which is sponsored by the company through the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture.
The presentation opened the program of the National Week of People with Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities, which takes place every year and promotes dialogue on inclusion, accessibility and respect for differences.
Between clowns, games and lots of interaction, the show brought joy to the institution’s audience and showed how art can bring people together and create ways of meeting. Participants were able to interact, express themselves and enjoy a moment of relaxation and fun together.

Who followed the activity closely was the Community Relations analyst at Aliança Energia, Flávia Santos. For her, the experience reinforced how much cultural initiatives like this can make a difference in everyday life:
“Watching a presentation like this at APAE in Lavras is very special, because we realize how much art has the power to bring people together, move and include. For the public served by the institution, moments like this go beyond entertainment: they promote coexistence, expression, belonging and joy. Supporting inclusive cultural initiatives is a concrete way to contribute to a more sensitive, welcoming society that is aware of the importance of valuing each person in their uniqueness.”
For Holegma Nunes, representative of APAE de Lavras, the presentation brought lightness and new experiences to the routine of those assisted:
“The presentation of the show ‘NA LONA’, by Teatro Construção, was a moment of joy, meetings, laughter and enchantment. It was beautiful to realize the impact of a different experience on APAE’s routine and how art can provide lightness, connection and new discoveries. We thank Aliança Energia for providing such a special and meaningful initiative for all of us.”
The initiative is also aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 10 – Reduction of Inequalities.

By sponsoring projects like this, Aliança Energia contributes to bringing culture closer to the communities where it is present and facilitating access to artistic experiences. It was a day of theater, games, meetings and discoveries, which showed how culture can bring together, include and be part of everyone’s lives.
