Last Monday (09/07), the Risoleta Neves Hydroelectric Power Plant completed 22 years of operation, consolidating a trajectory that combines energy generation, environmental preservation and relationship with the surrounding communities.
Located between the municipalities of Rio Doce and Santa Cruz do Escalvado, in the Zona da Mata region of Minas Gerais, the plant has been part of the region’s history since its inauguration in 2004. Over these more than two decades, its performance has contributed to the generation of sustainable energy and to the realization of initiatives aimed at environmental conservation and local development.

To celebrate the date, Aliança Energia produced a video that invites the public to learn about different aspects of the plant. The content presents its operation, highlights socio-environmental responsibility actions and shows the operation of the fish transposition system, a structure that contributes to the preservation of the aquatic biodiversity of the Doce River.
Click, watch the video and celebrate with us another chapter in the history of the Risoleta Neves Hydroelectric Power Plant.
