In celebration of World Water Day (March 22), Aliança Energia held on March 23, socio-educational actions aimed at raising awareness of the use of water in the environment. The initiative took place at E. M. Inácio Felix, in Baixa do Sítio, São Vicente (RN) and included 16 6th grade students.
With the theme “Commitment to Water”, the proposed activities, such as conversations in the form of debate, simulation of the sea and creation of posters, reinforced, in practice, the importance of water preservation and its fundamental role for life.

Aliança’s service provider, Gerciana Silva, highlighted the importance of the action for the community: “This initiative was very important, as it encouraged reflection on the conscious use of water. In addition, it transformed the participating group into agents of change, encouraging them to create real solutions to minimize the use of water with their families.”

In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (United Nations), with this initiative, Aliança Energia reinforced its commitment to ensuring a more sustainable future, with emphasis on SDG 4 – Quality Education, promoting awareness and the preservation of natural resources.
