Football is driven by dreams, encounters and opportunities. It was with this in mind that, on September 24, Aliança Energia delivered football kits to three teams in the region surrounding the Acauã Wind Complex (RN).
The delivery took place at the Youth Station, in Lagoa Nova (RN), and brought together representatives of Bahia de Lagoa Nova, Globo de Tenente Laurentino Cruz and Vasco de Manoel Domingos. Through its relationship with the community, Aliança Energia responded to a request made by the teams themselves and contributed to the athletes having better conditions to train and compete in competitions.
Each kit brings together balls, goalkeeper gloves, whistles, ball pumps, nets, thermoses, complete uniforms and training vests. For those who live football on the field, these materials make a difference in their daily lives and help make training and matches even more structured.
With the three teams that received the kits this year, Aliança Energia reaches 17 teams supported since 2024. In 2026, the company also started to support two women’s teams, helping to bring more women to the fields and create opportunities for sports practice and competition.
For Gustavo Xavier, Community Relations analyst at Aliança Energia, who accompanied the delivery, the moment represents the continuity of a history built alongside the communities:
“It is with great pride that we celebrate, for the third consecutive year, the strengthening of amateur football in the Acauã region. More than delivering high-quality uniforms and training materials, our role is to drive dreams. This year, our project takes a historic step by sponsoring three more teams, including two women’s teams. This new perspective reinforces our commitment to making space and supporting women who want and deserve to occupy the fields. Delivering these kits today is our way of saying that we believe in sport as a tool for transformation for all.”
The action is related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 3 – Health and Well-Being and SDG 5 – Gender Equality.
And football continues to move the region. In November, the II Aliança Football Cup will be held, bringing together teams and communities in another meeting marked by sport, integration and the talent of local athletes.
With actions like this, Aliança Energia contributes to sports continuing to be a path to well-being, coexistence and the creation of new opportunities in the communities surrounding the Acauã Wind Complex.
