Wind asset located in Bahia adds 193.2 MW of installed capacity to the company’s portfolio
Aliança Energia expanded its generation complex with the incorporation of the Caetité Norte Wind Complex, located in the municipality of Caetité, southwest of Bahia. With an installed capacity of 193 MW, the project reinforces the company’s portfolio, which reaches 2,382 MW of installed capacity. With this acquisition, the Company reinforces its strategy of generating value through renewable sources.
Inaugurated in October 2024, the complex has 46 wind turbines, each with a power of 4.2 MW. The asset is connected to the Igaporã III Substation through a 230 kV transmission line approximately 24 kilometers long.
“The incorporation of the Caetité Norte Complex represents a relevant advance for the growth of Aliança Energia with discipline and focus on renewable assets. We are expanding our presence in one of the main wind hubs in the country with an asset already operational”, reports Carlos Henrique Afonso, Development Manager at Aliança Energia.
