On March 24, Aliança participated in the 3rd Workshop on Good Practices in Sustainability, promoted by Vale, held at the company’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, actively contributing to the debate on socio-environmental risk management and relationship with communities.
The meeting brought together companies such as VLI, Samarco, Estreito Energia Consortium and Deloitte, to discuss trends, challenges and solutions in the area of sustainability, for the exchange of experiences on current sustainability challenges, with emphasis on territorial action, integrated data management, use of artificial intelligence and stakeholder engagement as a strategy to mitigate reputational risks and conflicts in the territories.
Throughout the workshop, relevant topics were addressed, such as partnerships with suppliers to strengthen territorial performance, sustainability risk management methodologies, integrated data management and the use of artificial intelligence, in addition to engagement as a strategy for managing reputational risks and conflicts in the territories.
Aliança Energia team participated in the panel “Stakeholder engagement: management of reputational risks and conflicts with communities”. On the occasion, the Integrated Territory Management System tool, developed for the company’s wind farms, was presented. The presentation was conducted by Aliança’s Social Responsibility and Communication manager, Marcelo Werly, together with company representatives Joseane Debortoli, José Neto and Anne Laura.
This territorial management tool, implemented last year in Aliança Energia’s wind farms, allows it to draw up integrated strategies for legal action, relationship with communities, risk management and targeting of social investments, strengthening its performance in the territories where it is present.

Participation in these meetings shows the company’s dedication to the exchange of experiences, the search for innovative solutions and the continuous improvement of its sustainability practices.
