On September 24, Aliança Energia was in the Acauã Settlement, a community neighboring the Acauã Wind Complex (RN), to accompany an initiative dedicated to children and adolescents in the region. On the occasion, the company presented its partnership with “Modalities: Working Body and Mind”, an initiative conceived by Physical Education teacher José Joailton.
Through the donation of sports materials, Aliança Energia contributed to improving the conditions for carrying out the actions and facilitating young people’s access to different modalities. The initiative integrates the company’s relationship with the surrounding communities and uses sport as a tool for coexistence, learning and training.
Throughout the activities, participants will have contact with volleyball, futsal, beach volleyball, chess, checkers and dodgeball. The variety allows for the stimulation of different skills, such as concentration, discipline, motor coordination, cooperation and respect for rules and colleagues.
The delivery of materials also represents a reinforcement for the realization of the activities planned throughout the initiative. With new resources for sports practices, Professor José Joailton highlights the significance of this partnership for the young people of Acauã:
“More than equipment, this partnership represents incentive, opportunity and care for the young people in the community.”
The initiative is aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 – Health and Well-Being, 4 – Quality Education and 10 – Reduction of Inequalities.
By supporting this initiative, the company contributes to children and adolescents having access to new experiences through sport. Each meeting can represent the discovery of a modality, the strengthening of trust, the learning about teamwork and the construction of new relationships.
In this way, Aliança Energia seeks to contribute to creating possibilities for the young people of the Acauã Settlement and strengthen their relationship with the communities near its operations.
