On World Energy Day, celebrated this Friday, May 29, Aliança Energia highlights the importance of renewable sources for the country’s development and for people’s routines. The company operates in the generation and commercialization of electricity from clean sources, with operations in different regions of Brazil and a focus on diversifying the national energy matrix.
Aliança Energia’s generating complex brings together hydroelectric plants in Minas Gerais, wind farms in Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte, as well as a photovoltaic plant in Jaíba, in the north of Minas Gerais. The combination of water, wind and sun strengthens a more diversified energy system and contributes to the reduction of environmental impacts associated with energy generation. Currently, the projects add up to more than 2189 MW of installed capacity, expanding the participation of renewable sources in the Brazilian electricity matrix.
The company accompanies the transformations in the sector with investments in operational efficiency, innovation and socio-environmental responsibility practices. It also develops initiatives aimed at environmental education, relationships with communities and the preservation of natural resources in the regions where it operates.
Aliança Energia’s work continues to expand the participation of renewable sources in Brazil, contributing to a more balanced, secure and sustainable energy future.
