On May 6, Aliança Energia held the II Workshop with Community Leaders, in the municipality of Icapuí, the area surrounding the CESI Wind Complex and the Gravier Power Plant (CE). With the theme “Territory in Motion”, the meeting brought together about 50 participants, including community leaders, representatives of the public authorities and institutional partners.

The event had the support of the City Hall of Icapuí and the partnership of Sebrae, which contributed with the lecture “Leadership that Transforms: The Power of Associativism in the Construction of the Territory”, given by Ítalo Dias. The program also included the panel “Living Territory: Strengthening Ties and Creating Opportunities”, led by the coordinator of Community Relations and Social Innovation, Joseane Debortoli.

During the meeting, dialogue and integration with the territories where the company operates was strengthened, promoting the training and updating of community leaders and public authorities on the partnership guidelines of Aliança Energia.

More than aligning expectations, the meeting addressed mechanisms for accessing resources through sponsorships, relationship actions and funds from municipal councils. With the theme “Territory in Motion”, Aliança Energia sought to equip local actors so that relationship and social investment initiatives are conducted based on solid criteria, ensuring viability, real impact and sustainability for the projects developed.

Regarding the importance of dialogue with local leaders, the coordinator of Community Relations and Social Innovation of Aliança Energia, Joseane Debortoli, points out: “It was very significant to participate in this moment of exchange with community leaders, partners and representatives of the public power. More than presenting guidelines and opportunities, we seek to strengthen relationships of trust and contribute to the territories having more and more autonomy, protagonism and access to sustainable initiatives. I strongly believe in the power of dialogue and collective work to generate a positive impact on communities.”

The company’s initiative is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 17 – Partnerships and Means of Implementation, evidencing the performance aimed at the development of communities and the construction of transparent, collaborative and lasting relationships.

These partnerships are built through dialogue and are consolidated with planning, compliance and accountability. In this way, Aliança Energia continues to create opportunities that contribute to the sustainable development of the territories where it operates.
