Aliança Energia reaffirms that inclusion and human rights are not just principles, they are decisions incorporated into the day-to-day of its operations and socio-environmental initiatives. Understanding inclusion as a continuous process, which requires recognizing differences, reducing barriers and expanding opportunities for participation, autonomy and development for all people.
In the Botanical Park, this commitment takes shape in the experiences proposed to schools, groups and residents of the surrounding area, people of different ages, histories and conditions. The space is accessible to children, young people, adults and the elderly, each experiencing the space in their own way, with welcome and respect for their particularities
During the visits, people with disabilities also participate in the tree climbing circuit, an activity that is usually not very accessible. With the support of the team and the necessary adaptations, they use the zip line safely. Likewise, it is inspiring to see elderly people challenging themselves and participating in the activity, reinforcing that there is no single profile to live this experience.
This experience expands the reflection on Aliança Energia’s role in building truly inclusive spaces, where everyone feels they belong. Ensuring access, participation and autonomy is, above all, a concrete way of respecting human rights, through attitudes, decisions and structures that value diversity.
With this action, Aliança Energia is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with emphasis on SDG 10 – Reduction of Inequalities, by promoting the inclusion of visitors.
