Last Friday, March 13, Aliança Energia held the General DDS with the theme Orange February, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about leukemia. All its employees, own and third parties, participated in a face-to-face meeting at the Acauã Wind Complex, in Rio Grande do Norte.
The presentation was conducted by its service provider and Occupational Safety Technician (TST) of the Acauã Wind Complex, Adelânia Campelo, who shared information about leukemia, addressing its main symptoms, forms of diagnosis and treatment possibilities. During the meeting, the importance of bone marrow donation as a gesture of solidarity capable of saving lives was also reinforced, highlighting the relevance of information and awareness to encourage this practice.
On the occasion, a video was shown with the testimony of a bone marrow donor, who shared her experience in participating in this gesture of solidarity. In her report, she told about the relationship with the patient who received the donation. Currently, the child is 10 years old and lives healthily, demonstrating how bone marrow donation can contribute to the lives of others.
The moment was also used to deliver the awards for the Inter Usinas Cup 2025, recognizing the employees who stood out in the competition in the categories of best goalkeeper and top scorer.

At the end of the meeting, the importance of always being aware of risks in the work environment and using FOCAPE, the company’s Hazard Hunting program, to identify risk situations and propose improvements, contributing to an increasingly safe environment, was reinforced. In this way, Aliança Energia remains committed to the protection and well-being of all.
