On April 10, Aliança Energia participated in the inauguration of the Center for Social Assistance Projects and Coexistence in the municipality of Itueta (MG), a region where the company maintains permanent operations through its relationship work with communities
The new space was made possible by the donation of land owned by the company to the Municipality of Itueta, an initiative that reinforces our commitment to strengthening public policies and the social development of the territories where we operate.
It is planned that, in the future, the place will also receive the CRAS unit of the municipality, expanding and structuring the service to the population.
In addition to the donation of the land, Aliança Energia intends to enable, through the Council for Children and Adolescents and the Fund for the Elderly, projects that will be developed in the new Center for Projects and Coexistence of Social Assistance.
The center was designed to promote socialization, encourage the protagonism of participants and contribute to the confrontation of social vulnerabilities. Coexistence workshops, conversation circles and recreational, sports and cultural activities are planned, strengthening the social projects already developed in the municipality.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local authorities and members of the community. On the occasion, the company was represented by Community Relations analysts, Tatiana Menezes and Rubens de Souza. In his speech, Rubens highlighted the satisfaction of seeing the completion of the space and its importance for the local population:
“We are sure that the socio-cultural activities developed here will prevent social risks, strengthen family and community ties and value the collective life of children, young people, adults and the elderly.”
Aliança Energia’s performance is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, with emphasis on SDG 3 – Health and Well-Being and SDG 17 – Partnerships and Means of Implementation, evidenced by the collaboration between the private sector and the municipal government.
