As part of the program of its 7th Health and Safety Seminar, Aliança held, on February 25, in Jaíba (MG), a technical visit to the Sol do Cerrado Solar Plant, one of the largest photovoltaic projects in the country, part of its portfolio.

During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the plant’s operational processes, reinforcing health and safety practices and promoting the approximation of the teams with the operating environment. The activity followed the seminar’s proposal to stimulate learning, the exchange of experiences and consolidate the culture of prevention and care for life, one of the company’s values.

The program began with a safety briefing, in which participants received guidance on site rules, preventive conducts and guidelines for circulation in operational areas. Then, they were welcomed by Aliança’s participation manager, Guilherme Bretas, who highlighted the importance of integration between teams from different regions and areas of activity. The plant’s Operation and Maintenance supervisor, Eduardo Bueno, presented the operation of the photovoltaic plant, as well as its energy impact in the North region of Minas.

The guided tour in vans covered the blocks of the plant, with technical explanations about the structure and operation of the solar park. During the route, the safety protocols applied in the field and the observation points used to monitor activities were presented.

The coordinator of the Funil HPP, William Rodrigues, commented on the visit: “The visit to the Sol do Cerrado solar park gave us the opportunity to learn more about a large-scale facility and better understand the challenges related to operations and maintenance, broadening our perspective on the operations and challenges of Aliança Energia. We thank the Sol do Cerrado team for the warm welcome and congratulate the organizing team for the successful event. Congratulations to Aliança Energia for building and upholding values that make us proud to be part of this team.”

Aliança Energia ended the event by consolidating practical learning, highlighting the importance of safety in the operating environment and reinforcing the company’s value of always putting life first.
