Vehicle traffic through the dam of the Aimorés Hydroelectric Power Plant will be temporarily interrupted between May 18 and 22, from 7 am to 5 pm, to carry out cleaning and preventive maintenance services in the structures of the spillway, in the vicinity of Pedra Lorena.
The action is part of the plant’s maintenance schedule and aims to ensure the operational safety of the structures, especially with the execution of activities in the vicinity of the spillway gates.
During the work, the passage of vehicles through the dam will be blocked to ensure the safety of the teams involved and users who use the site as access between the municipalities and communities in the region.
Drivers traveling between the rural areas of Baixo Guandu, Aimorés, Itueta and Resplendor should use alternative routes during the interdiction period, such as the Baixio road and the Resplendor side road.
