Traffic on the Aimorés HPP dam will be partially closed between 09/28 and 10/02

Aimores Pista Spillway Cover

From Monday, September 28, the passage of vehicles through the dam of the Aimorés Hydroelectric Power Plant will operate in half lane, from 7 am to 5 pm. The measure continues until Friday, October 2, and will be necessary for the continuity of the activities to modernize the spillway equipment.

The intervention is part of the plant’s modernization schedule and will temporarily affect the flow of vehicles that use the stretch as a connection between Baixo Guandu, in Espírito Santo, and the Minas Gerais municipalities of Aimorés, Itueta and Resplendor. The services will be carried out in order to ensure the safety of the teams involved and road users.

Depending on the progress of the work, traffic may be organized by the STOP and SIGA system or there may be early release of the ticket, if the activities are completed before 5 pm.

To reduce possible impacts on travel, Aliança Energia recommends that drivers plan their routes in advance and consider additional travel time. As detour options, the Baixio road and the Resplendor side road can be used.

The guidance is that drivers consider the planned interventions and organize themselves for displacements throughout the period, especially at busy times.
