As part of its social action in the territories where it is present, Aliança Energia supports cultural activities aimed at education and the appreciation of quilombola identity in Rio Grande do Norte.
The Quilombola Museum of Macambira held a storytelling activity for students from the São Luiz Municipal School of Integral Education and the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Municipal School, in the municipality of Lagoa Nova (RN), a community neighboring the Acauã Wind Complex. The action took place on April 22 and was part of the educational program promoted by the museum with the school community.
This activity strengthens students’ bonds with the history and identity of the territory where they live, integrating education, culture and social development. The partnership with the Quilombola Museum of Macambira is made possible through the Culture Incentive Law and is part of a set of social actions developed in the territories near the Acauã Wind Complex.
During the program, students participated in activities with narratives about the history of Macambira, presented in a playful way with the use of puppets. The conduction was in charge of the storyteller Edivaldo Marinho, promoting interaction and approximation with the local culture.

For us, supporting initiatives like this is part of the ongoing relationship with the communities surrounding our projects.
“We seek to contribute in a structuring way to the strengthening of the communities where we operate, supporting actions that promote education, culture and appreciation of local identity in a lasting way”, reinforces Aliança’s service provider, Gerciana Costa.
Aliança Energia is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 – Quality education, SDG 11 – Sustainable cities and communities and SDG 17 – Partnerships and means of implementation.

By supporting actions like this, the company Aliança reaffirms its commitment to action based on dialogue with communities, respect for local culture and the promotion of social development in the territories where it operates.
