Education gains even more strength when it goes hand in hand with creativity and commitment to the future. It is with this purpose that, once again, Aliança Energia promotes initiatives that unite art, sustainability and learning, placing students as protagonists in the construction of a more solid environmental awareness in the territories where it operates.
In 2026, the first edition of the Aliança Energia Design Contest will be held in the Northeast region of Brazil, with the objective of engaging public schools in socio-environmental issues and highlighting education as an agent of social change, as well as the active involvement of students in this process. The initiative seeks to raise students’ awareness about the importance of renewable energy for the environment and for the sustainable development of the communities where the company operates, encouraging reflection, creativity, and appreciation of the local territory.
The theme proposed for the contest, “The importance of wind energy for the environment and for the community”, invites participants to express, through drawing, their vision on the role of wind energy in sustainability, environmental preservation, the local landscape and the future of communities. Registration is open and runs until May 8, 2026.
The drawings produced and selected will be used to illustrate a cordel book that we will make with the cordels made by the students in the Cordel Contest 2025.
At the same time, Aliança Energia Contest will be developed in different territories, expanding the reach of the initiative and involving different local realities. In Icapuí (CE), within the scope of the municipal schools Professora Carlota Tavares de Holanda and Maria Edilce Barbosa Municipal School located in the territory where the Santo Inácio Wind Complex operates, students regularly enrolled in the 4th and 5th years of Elementary School will be able to participate.
In the municipalities surrounding the Acauã Wind Complex: São Vicente (RN), Santana do Matos (RN), Tenente Laurentino (RN) and Lagoa Nova (RN), the initiative will also promote student engagement through the language of drawing, stimulating a critical look at the relationship between human beings and nature. The proposal seeks to value different perspectives and experiences of students from the locations in which they are inserted, contemplating students regularly enrolled in the 3rd, 4th and 5th years of Elementary School.
The initiatives reflect the company’s way of acting: integrating education, culture and sustainability into the territories where it develops its projects. The actions are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with emphasis on SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Action Against Global Climate Change).

With initiatives such as the Drawing Contest and the Drawing Contest, Aliança Energia reinforces its commitment to education and to the formation of a generation that is more aware, engaged and prepared to build a more sustainable future for all.
