The road that passes over the dam of the Funil Hydroelectric Power Plant will be temporarily closed on September 28 and October 2, from 8 am to 5 pm. The measure is necessary to carry out maintenance services and operational routine tests, scheduled for the period before the rains.
During the execution of the work, vehicle traffic along the stretch will be suspended to ensure the safety of the teams and allow the planned operational procedures to be carried out.
Located in Rio Grande, between the municipalities of Lavras and Perdões, the Funil HPP is in a region of circulation between the municipalities and is used as a route by residents and other drivers who transit through the area. Due to the interdiction of traffic through the Funil HPP dam, at the scheduled times for the activities, drivers who need to pass through the stretch must schedule their trips using the route via Ribeirão Vermelho and Lavras, according to the direction of travel, until traffic is released on site.

It is expected that traffic will be restored at the end of each day’s work, after the completion of the services and the verification of the safety conditions for the release of the road.
