Then, the activities begin, including an ecological trail, tree climbing circuit and actions at the Environmental Education Center. The visit to the theme of water care, in reference to the environmental action of the month of March, when World Water Day is celebrated. During the activities, the students learned in a playful way about the importance of water conservation, the conscious use of natural resources and the protection of ecosystems, reflecting on sustainable attitudes in everyday life.

For Tatiana Teixeira, Community Relations analyst at Aliança, the Environmental Education Program contributes to the formation of new generations. “The reopening of the Botanical Park for educational actions in 2026 reinforces the transformative role of the Environmental Education Program. By bringing young people closer to environmental issues, we awaken in them a sense of responsibility and citizenship. It is gratifying to realize that, by celebrating dates such as World Water Day, we are forming citizens who are more aware and prepared to face the environmental challenges of the future.”

The program’s actions are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 – Quality Education, promoting environmental education and expanding access to knowledge about sustainability.
