On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, celebrated on April 19, Aliança Energia reinforces its commitment to valuing the cultural diversity of Brazil’s native peoples and respecting their rights. We recognize the fundamental role of these peoples in environmental preservation, the protection of biodiversity, and the construction of sustainable ways of life, as well as the permanent need to combat stereotypes, prejudices, and misinformation.
At Aliança Energia, all actions are guided by its Human Rights Policy, which continuously promotes respect for human dignity and sustainable development in its practices, both within the company and in the communities where it operates. Any situation that compromises people’s rights, freedoms, or dignity is considered a violation.
As part of this commitment, educational and awareness-raising actions are promoted in its units and in the territories where it is present, contributing to expanding knowledge, stimulating dialogue and valuing the culture of indigenous peoples.
